01Two cookies at most, and only if you want them
A cookie is a file a site places on your device and that your browser sends back to the server with every request. That back-and-forth is what makes it possible to recognise a visitor from one page to the next.
This site sets none until you have accepted. If you accept audience measurement, a single cookie is set, and it serves nothing else.
No advertising, no ad network, no third-party tool. The measurement is done by this server, for this site, and the data does not leave it.
02What is set, and what stays in your browser
One cookie, if and only if you have accepted the measurement:

03The only third party: YouTube, and only if you want it
The interview on the home page is hosted by YouTube. Until you start it, nothing is requested from Google: the image you see is served by this server.
If you accept the player, it is loaded from youtube-nocookie.com, the least talkative mode Google offers. Google may then set its own trackers, over which this site has no control. See Google's privacy policy.
04Nothing else is called
Typefaces, images, icons, styles and scripts are all served from borrowandback.com. No Google fonts, no external content delivery network, no social media button that loads by itself. The links to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn are plain links: they do nothing until you click.
05Erasing what is stored
You can erase these preferences at any time from your browser settings, under “site data” or “cookies and site data”. Private browsing keeps none of it either.
